We are thrilled to welcome Prof. Abdul Gani as the new Director of IITM Srinagar! 🎉
With over 35 years of experience in academia and administration, Prof. Gani has held key leadership roles at two central universities, a state university, and an international institution. His impressive career includes serving as Founder Registrar, Dean of Business Studies, Director of R&D, and Officiating Vice-Chancellor at Central University of Kashmir (CUK), along with significant contributions to University of Kashmir, IGNOU, and Arab Open University (Saudi Arabia).
A recipient of prestigious fellowships such as the US Fulbright Fellowship, Shastri Indo-Canadian Fellowship, and UK Open University International Fellowship, Prof. Gani has lectured at leading institutions worldwide, authored numerous books, and published 75+ research papers. 📚✨
As he takes on this new role, Prof. Gani aims to drive IITM towards academic excellence, strengthen industry collaborations, and align the institute with NEP 2020. 🚀
